About AVANTI
The Original Avanti House and Museum
The Avanti House, a guest house and mini museum located in South Bend, Indiana, was built in 1921 as a family home but, after extensive renovations, became a guest house in 2013. It features six guest rooms, three full bathrooms, and five half bathrooms! The old woodwork and character is not only intact but highlighted throughout the home. The home is decorated in an Avanti car theme and rooms are named after the various factory owners. A tv room, sunroom, and a neat spiral staircase were added in 2017. Guests also enjoy the large dining room, living room, and a well preserved kitchen.

The two Avanti Houses are located just steps from the Studebaker Museum. These guest houses (like B&Bs without the breakfast) contain eleven private bedrooms, each with either a private full bath or half bath. All guests have access to full shower in the shared bathroom as well.

South Bend has much to offer visitors of all ages. We are located 2.8 miles from Notre Dame, a 10 minute walk from downtown and the South Bend Cub stadium, and in a historic area with plenty of parking. There is also a laundromat and grocery store nearby.
